The Better Way project looks to improve animals’ lives

Canyon Creek Ranch, which is a line of natural pet food, has introduced a new initiative called the Better Way Project, which helps fund animal ideas and projects that they think are worthwhile and beneficial to a community. They have created an online portal where people can submit their ideas, share them and possibly have them brought into existence through the project.

Canyon Creek has committed a total of $200,000 for the project and to complete eight pet-friendly projects across the nation. They are accepting these ideas from anyone among the general public, and the chosen projects will receive volunteers to help, along with donations, depending on the type of project. Canyon Creek Ranch has already completed three projects with great success stories and results.

How can you submit your idea? Follow the steps below:

•  Visit http://www.canyoncreekranch.com/betterwayproject/submit-your-idea
•  Write a detailed description of your proposal (idea), and explain as best you can how it will benefit your community.
• Be sure to include a link or video or up to five photos illustrating your project.
• Submissions must achieve 100 points to be considered by the Better Way Project Team. Pet lovers can show their support by clicking the “Support” button on the project they have interest in, along with sharing the project via as social media widget.
