Hi, my name is Kristen. I’m a single mother to 2 kids and live in the Malvern area. I grew up in Newtown Square, attended Villa Maria for 12 years, and graduated from St. Joseph’s University with a Bachelors in Business.

I worked in corporate America for over 2 decades as a senior level admin supporting high level execs. The last few years I have been home with my kids who are both cyber students, facilitating their school work. This has allowed me the opportunity to volunteer for many things, one of which was working with the Brandywine Valley SPCA for a year in their SAFE program. I visited and walked dogs there, as well as, sat, played and socialized with the cats at the shelter.

I have always had dogs growing up as a child from a black lab to a toy poodle to our current fur babies JJ (a dog, Malshi – maletese / shitzu mix), Shadow (a black American short hair cat) and Cocoa (a white holland lop bunny).

My toy poodle Ashley who lived for 18 years had numerous medical issues throughout her life, the most prominent were seizures, and then various heart issues and swelling in her legs, toward the end of her life. I know exactly what it is like to work FT outside the home and worry about when you can get home to let your pets out for a walk, administer medication or just have that peace of mind that they were looked in on and are ok until you return.

I am Alejandro and I am very excited to join the Pet Nanny team here on the Main Line. I have always loved pets, when growing up in our family we had two German Sheppards, two cats, and then a Labrador in my 20s. At home now we have one dog, he is a nine years old mini Schnauzer that we named Dali, in honor of Salvador Dali painter (mainly because he has a similar mustache!). I take great care of him, taking him on walks, giving him a bath, cutting his hair and even his nails.

Hi! My name is Andrea. I currently live in Paoli with my husband and 3 children. I have owned a variety of animals since I was little, including, cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits and fish.

Interesting fact about me, my grandfather is portrayed in a painting feature in the AKC museum in NY, alongside his Husky-Pak dogs. He is known as one of the most influential Alaskan malamute breeders of the 20th century.

Of course, I grew up learning about the breed from him and have had a love for dogs my whole life. I have been a dog owner for the last 24 years and currently own 2 Alaskan malamutes of my own, Nova and Bodi. Originally from Atlanta, I relocated to Chesterbrook 10 years ago. I love animals! I was practically raised in a dog pack and grew up around dogs of all kinds. Over the years, I’ve cared for a wide variety of pets, including bearded dragons and iguanas for 10 years. Currently, I have two dogs and a cat who acts just like a dog!

Outside of pet care, I enjoy off-the-beaten-path international travel, spending 2–3 weeks at a time backpacking through rural areas and small towns to experience authentic local cultures.
