Many of those New Year’s resolutions are just so darn hard to achieve. Do you happen to have a resolution on your list involving getting in shape? Well, the start of the new year brings Project Pet Slimdown, a new online program started by Nestle, Purina and Jenny Craig. This program combines weight management for pet owners and their furry friends. What an interesting concept!

Pet owners who sign up can obtain tips for exercising with their pet, record exercise taken, track weight loss and share photos with other users, Nestle said.

Obesity in pets is actually a common problem and just like humans, the key to losing weight is with proper exercise and nutrition.

Track your progress, get tips and friendly reminders, share with friends and family, and earn fun badges along the way! If you and your pet need to shed a few pounds, why not do it together?!
