Happy Rabbits

Hi Colleen,

I just wanted to write briefly to let you know that Chimere did an absolutely amazing job taking care of my rabbits, Abby and Maddy, this past week. Not only did she leave me a very nice, detailed note describing their week, but she also sent me a text message each day to let me know that they were okay.

Although I mentioned that she didn't have to worry about keeping their cages clean while she was caring for them, I came home to find that their cages had been maintained throughout the week and were both very clean! She went above and beyond.

Both rabbits were happy, healthy and seemed unfazed that I had been gone for so long.

Just wanted to thank you for the amazing service and be sure that you were aware of the awesome job Chimere did.

Murray and the Pet Nanny

My wife and I wanted a dog, particularly with our pending retirements from work. But retirement means more time to travel which adds challenges to doggie ownership. After much discussion we took the plunge and acquired the Murray Dog, a Portuguese water dog puppy. Of course, he is one great looking dog and a light in our life.

We travel often, sometimes taking day outings to trips lasting 1-2 weeks in duration. We have used Pet Nanny from the beginning and always feel confident about Murray’s well-being and happiness.

On longer trips, we have used the Pet Nanny to house and dog sit. This has been great for our slightly guilty consciences knowing that he is in such good hands. For the first two or three days after our return, Murray keeps running to and looking into the room where the Pet Nanny slept. This is doggie testimony to his happiness and certainly comforting to his traveling mommy and daddy.

When we get back from a trip-long or short- there is always a note describing his antics with reassurance about what a good boy he was. The notes reflect the Pet Nanny’s care and interest in both the pet and the owners.

What can I possibly say to convey my trust and sincere appreciation in the pet-care services offered by Pet Nanny?

Two years ago, I moved back to the Philly area and called the Pet Nanny to tend to my independent and shy cat “Miss Jazz”. During our first meeting, Colleen Parson was extremely professional and “Miss Jazz” gave her “paws up” approval!!! My work and travel schedule can be very erratic requiring last minute phone calls to Pet Nanny for pet-care services. Over the last two years, Pet Nanny has come to my rescue many, many times. Colleen ALWAYS steps up to the plate, assuring me peace of mind while I travel.

Pet Nanny even goes way beyond the call of duty. Recently, after leaving the house for a weekend trip, I had that nagging feeling that a candle was left burning. Attempts to reach friends in the area were futile and unable to shake that “feeling of doom” I called Colleen on her Pet Nanny hot line. Although she was enjoying a Saturday bridal shower w/ friends, within the hour she rallied her Pet Nanny troops, checked the house (and most importantly “Miss Jazz”) and called me back to say all was well!

It has been my pleasure to watch Pet Nanny grow and prosper by providing superior service and doing business the right way!

"The Dog Walker"

My husband and I have referred to Colleen as “The Dog Walker” for a long time. She used to walk my roommates dog about 3 years ago. Since then we have seen the benefits of having The Pet Nanny care of our animals. After we got married almost a year ago we decided to get two kittens. We live an active lifestyle and go away a lot. We immediately thought of Colleen and contacted her to care for our cats when we could not be there to do so. It is so much easier to know that the same person will be there every time you go away instead of having a neighbor or family member take care of them. I trust Colleen with taking care of our cats as well as our house while we are away.

THEN we decided to take a big step and get a puppy. Of course I called Colleen frantically two weeks before we brought home Lucy, our Great Dane puppy, to work out a schedule for taking care of her. My husband and I both work, so we can not be there as much as she needs us during the day. Colleen worked out a schedule with us and told me not to worry! She made me feel completely comfortable and offered referrals of trainers as well. I know Lucy is well taken care of during the day and the cats get the extra added bonus of seeing their Pet Nanny every day! I truly appreciate Colleen’s flexibility and care for our pets. When I first moved to the Philadelphia area, I was nervous to leave my Shih-Tzu by by herself during the long hours that I sometimes work. She really didn't seem to mind as she had plenty of toys to keep her occupied, but I always felt that she was lonely or bored. So, I asked a few co-workers what they did with their pets when they went on vacation or when they were at work. When I asked my one co-worker, he suggested the Pet Nanny. At first, I must say that I loved the name because I really think of my dog as a child and the thought that someone else would name their business as if they were taking care of children was really quite appealing to me. After I talked to Colleen on the phone and met with her for the first time, I was completely sold.

The walkers are so reliable and caring, and really spend quality time with Emma during the work day. They show so much attention in the time that they spend with her during the day that they even are able to identify some of her mannerisms and personality traits. Marla even taught Emma to walk up and down our stairs in the house, which she would never do before since she was so scared! Now, she is a pro! While I am at work, I never worry about her, as I know that she will be well taken care of and looked after. Colleen knows exactly how to cater to pet owners that really consider themselves parents. She listens to your concerns and then really accommodates her business to fit your schedule. We have never been so happy with a pet service before, and really hope that Colleen is as happy to have us as customers as we are to have her business' services!
